THANKSGIVING

Just wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. No Tatting right now. DH has been in the VA Hospital for a couple of weeks and is due home on Saturday. So been doing some deep house cleaning while he is gone. Better get back to work on dinner.

A little of this and that

This is from Becky Dempsey book Bugs and Beasts .I did the Rabbit and squirrel in size 20 Lizabeth thread.

The heart is Linda S. Davies heart. Lizabeth thread size 20. Butterfly's are by Marlene Lewis one is Alix's butterfly and the other one is Donna's butterfly.

This is the Chinese Dragon by Ann Bruvold not sure what thread I used but it was size 20.

All of these butterfly's are by Mary Maynard.

This is Beatrice from Iris Niebach book Tatted Doilies. Lizabeth thread size 20.

Now that fall is here I am hoping to be able to post more often. I have the bedroom painted, the out side read for winter. Now it is time to start cleaning the house again

I need to shampoo the carpet. then take a break.

I also went the to VA mt DH had a doctor's appoment. I took my tatting with me and someone asked what I was doing. One of the other guys that was there told them right off. He said his mother, grandmother and great grandmother use to tat. Said his great grand mother could tat with her eyes closed. He also said he had one of her tatting shuttles. The other person who asked is going to try and learn to tat. Great part her husband said he was also going to try.
