Project Runway

No tatting this time.
1. It is not snowing here for a change and the sun was out all day. We even made it to 40 a major heat wave for us.

2. My granddaughter Megan Davis is going to be on the Project Runway and Models of the Runway tomorrow night at 9 on lifetime. She also made the Des Moines paper in the Iowa Life sec. So I know what I will be doing on Thursday nights for the next 12 weeks. I will tat while I watch it. That is about all the news here.

Happy New Year

I have been tatting. G Grandson Aracin was out of school out two weeks. Right now we are in a deep freeze, it is -4 right now, but the sun is shining and it is not snowing for a change.

I cannot fine the pattern for the leaves but I think it is one of Ruth Perry's patterns. The Chrysalis is "Mys Terry" Hope Green's form the 2009 Palmetto Tatters CD. The bee is To Bee or not to Bee by Jane Eborall pattern for the 2009 CD. Palmetto Tatters. The Aster Flower is from the Feb. 1972 Workbasket I won from Sherry Mondo giveaway. I beleive it was a snowflake I cannot fine the pattern for but I will keep looking for it. So if any one knows please let me know.

These are all from the Palmetto Tatters 2009 Cd. Split Ring Lady Bug is by Martha Ess, "Bee-Dy" Amulet Bag is also Martha Ess's Love working both of them. The Precious Butterfly is by Hope Green. I did need to learn how the do HPL all over again. Have not done any in years. It is a good way to clean off some of my shuttles.

This one is from the Russian site that is on the Online Tatting Class. Getting the order of the rings was hard. But once I starting writing down each ring and chain. It was easier, especially when working back words on the rounds.

Workbasket from Sherry Mondo Monday Giveaway

Look what came in the mail yesterday. The workbasket magazine I won from Sherry Mondo Monday giveaway. Thanks Sherry. I thought since she had to mail the Workbasket, I might as well order some more thread. Did some of my Christmas shopping. I love the thread and workbasket.

I have been tatting. I did Mark Myers Holly and Berries ant his Christmas stocking. Love working Mark's two patterns.

I also did Jane's Eborall Snowman Great grandson wanted it not sure what he is going to do with it.

OK This also came in the mail yesterday. To of Heather ( The Tarnished Tatter) shuttles and the thread. Love the shuttles they are very light.

I think my brain is frozen, it is been so cold here for the last couple of days. I had better get busy and go bake the suger cookies before Aracin get home from school.

Aracin and Boomer

Just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. This is my Great Grandson Aracin and his dog Boomer. It took him for ever to get the dog to leave on the reindeer ears on. He is the one who plays with my tatting. I have been tatting and just don't have the time to post it right now.
Right now I need to mix up some peanut butter cookies up so he can bake them tonight. As you can see the coffee table is a mess, he likes to drew a lot and that is where he like to do it.

Lots of Snow

No tatting for now but we do have lots and lots of snow. This is from the front deck. I know there is a street out there. It is still snowing and starting to blow it all around. Nothing much is moving here. No bus's, cabs. a lot of business are shut down.

Here is what it look like from our front deck this is out driveway. So you know what I am going to be doing later tonight after it quits snowing. The fence is 4 ft. high so going to take a while to move all of the snow. Since he had surgery (hope that is spelled right) he cannot help with it. I am afred he will rip out his stichs.

I hope everyone else who lives in the rest of Iowa and anywhere else who is getting this snow storm is doing ok.

I do have a question. I brought a tatting book in the middle of Nov. which has never arrived. I have e-mailed her twice about it and have not heard back from her. Should I e-mail her again, before I contact paypal about getting it resolved?

THANKSGIVING

Just wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. No Tatting right now. DH has been in the VA Hospital for a couple of weeks and is due home on Saturday. So been doing some deep house cleaning while he is gone. Better get back to work on dinner.
