Books, Thread and Teapot

Haven't done much tatting this month. Glad Easter is over had between 15-20 here for dinner. Now that it has warmed up, I will be spending a lot of time outside doing yard work. It is just nice to be out side again. It was a very long winter.
I did get one of Martha Ess Teapot's done. I even learned how to do the maltese ring.

The mail man brought me two books. One is in Russian I had to wait almost three months on this to come. It was on backorder. I also got Martha Ess Tea is for Tatting book.

Some of Marilee Rockley threas, Blue Pansy, Soft Pansy and Purple Pansy. I love the hand dyed thread.

Bunny and Roses

The Roses are from Linda S. Davies Summer Collection of tatted flowers. This rose is so easy to tat and put together. I am going to make some more of then. Done in size 20 thread. The variegated one is tatted with Marilee ( Yarnplayers) Peace thread.

Bunny Pattern is by Mark Myers done in size 10 DMC thread. Grandson wanted a big bunny.

Lady Patricia, Pansy flower, Tatted Paisley,Celtic Egg

Lady Patricia is one of Heather Johnston patterns. She has not been pressed or blocked. The Johnny Jump Up or Pansy flower's pattern is by Jen(Tatra-Sutra) Nice for emptying up some shuttles. Helen Bailey's Celtic Egg from Georgia Seitz site. And Mark Myers Tatted Paisley . I love Mark tatting and the lace he does. Looks like everything has Purple or light Purple in it.

New Book and A Little of This and That

My TIAS by of Iris Niebach, Sunbonnet Sue Motif by Darlene Polachic Done in size 8 DMC thread. Easter Frame pattern by Terry THe Tatter. No picture in it yet I still have 10 more to go. Jon's Quantiesque Snowflake, and Celtic Butterfly form the book Celtic Tatting Knots and Patterns by Rozella F. Linden.

Here is a couple of things I did in yellow one is done is size 20 thread , the flowers are done in size 8 thread.

I got this book in the mail on Friday from Handy hands also go some Lizbeth thread. Love the patterns in this book as far as I can tell they are all done with one shuttle.

No tating

I never did get to tat this week. But I did get to be out side a couple of day and get some yard work done.

Here is the forth day of the TIAS. Hope it is right. I had to take some of it out and wind the dark green shuttle. Ran out of thread.

This is from 12 Tatted Fairy-Tales by Inga Madsen. Love this book. Just had to use some color on this one.

Here is some of the shuttles , Hook and pick , and a needle case. I took all of these to the Kindergarten class. They are studying things that are make out of wood. I even took some of the tatting to school so they would know what they are used for. I took the green butterfly thatI posted earlier. It didn't come home one of the parents wanted it so I gave it to her.

Two if the shuttles are from the shuttle brothers. Other I got off of e-bay.
